Coolered

Ms. Duck and I took a short trip to the Gambler's General Store to pick up a discard tray for one of our blackjack tables we use in our casino party business. I broke one while refelting it a few months ago. I picked up a few odds and ends in addition for our home poker game.

By the time we got back to the Venetian it was lunch time, so we hoofed it down to PF Changs for some egg rolls and almond chicken. Ms. Duck wanted to play at the Cosmopolitan to take advantage of their Zappos promotion, so we strolled on over. My understanding is that Zappos is a shoe store.

From there we caught the tram to the Monte Carlo where I sat in on a $2-6 spread limit hold em game. I left 3 or 4 hours later up about $80. It would have been more, but I was coolered when my A-Q saw a flop of Q-Q-3. I kept betting, thinking I was good because my opponent just called me down (even the river) and tabled 3-3 for the flopped boat.

Coach and I are meeting at Ballys this afternoon at 2 o'clock to play a few hands and hopefully relieve the tourists of some of their money. So, if you're in the area, stop by and say hi.

Two more days before we catch a bird home.

Till next time, win the flips.

    1. Yep, but I guess I was lucky he just check/called it all the way down. He definitely left some money on the table.
