MLB Picks, April 5th

The first day of the new season that has more than one game on the schedule. It's time to wipe the dust off the desk, sweep out the spider webs, and open the Small Potatoes Sports Betting Division for business. My last wager was on the Super Bowl, and seems ages ago. So let's get started, shall we?

$10 on Toronto (Romero) over Cleveland (Masterson) -1 1/2 @ +$135
Spring Training records usually don't mean much, but the Jays went 24-7 and have a lot of confidence going into the regular season. They feel like they are ready to compete with the Yankees and Red Sox this year and will want to get off to a good start. Southpaw Romero takes the ball and is 2-1 career against the Tribe.

Starting Bankroll           $1,500.00
Profit/Loss                        $0
Current Bankroll           $1,500.00

Action is considered dead unless both listed pitchers start.

All picks are for entertainment purposes only with no guarantees implied. Any money wagered is at your own risk.

Good luck!

  1. Thanks for starting off the season with a couple of TB Cuties Lucki. Even if they are wearing the old Devil Ray garb. Good luck on your short term investing
