Two games on the menu that I like, but I waited too late to get in on the Reds/Cubs game. I hope you were able to see the value in betting against the Cubs' Maholm, who is 0-2 with a 13+ ERA this season, and get your money down on Cincy. As for me, "you snooze, you lose."

The Rays are 8-0 in Shields last eight starts at home. Shields has been great in his last two outings, posting a 2-0 record, with a 1.10 ERA. Pavano is 1-1, 5.23 ERA for the season.

    Nicely bet sir, Shields was dominating and the offense did enough for the victory. I'm not sure what kind of team the Rays will end up being this year as the starters outside of Shields have been more down than up and the bullpen is not the most reliable. At least the offense seems better

      Rays should be okay. Fortunately, the AL East is unusually weak this season. The Yanks rotation is suspect and the Red Sox have picked up where they left off last season and have lost 30 of 41 games. Ouch!
