MLB Picks, May 3rd

"Hot Hitter"
A pretty good day yesterday, with the only hickey being the Cards' loss. I see two games today worth a look.

$10 on Tampa Bay (Davis) over Toronto (Reyes), -1.5 @ +$120
The Blue Jays are 6-23 in their last 29 games at Tampa. Davis has thrown well for the Rays, sporting an ERA under 2 in his last three starts. Reyes by contrast, is 5.68 in his last three. Plus Tampa is knocking the cover off the ball lately, averaging almost 7 runs a game in the last week.
$15 on LA Dodgers (Billingsley) over ChiCubs (Dempster), -1.5 @ +$140
Billingsley continues to perform well for LA, with a 2.21 ERA in his last three trips to the mound. The Cub's Dempster hasn't found his groove yet. With an ERA of almost 10 on the season, his last three starts have been even worse, with an incredible 15+ ERA. Look for him to get rocked again tonight.
Starting Bankroll  $1,500.00
Profit/Loss              <$14.00>
Current BR           $1,486.00
