Remote Controled

As I mentioned in a previous post, my Tony Bennett CD was stuck in the player in my truck and Tony was refusing to leave the stage. Well, a few days ago the player quit playing the CD altogether, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new unit.

I'm now the proud owner of a brand spanking new Pioneer AM/FM radio with CD player and MP3 compatible, so I can now use my Ipod in the truck. It's got all the bells and whistles, but one accessory in particular grabbed my attention.

A remote control.

Just how lazy do you have to be to use this thing?

"Oh, I don't feel like leaning forward to change the CD, where's my remote?"

Good grief Charlie Brown.

  1. Just like home. The kids grab the remote and start to fight over it.

  2. One would think you'd just put the old boombox in your truck. Or was there no room with the stack of leisure suits you were taking to the cleaners?

    1. I thought about the boombox, but then I'd have to get a top flight security system to protect it from theft. Can't afford that, spent too much at the cleaners :)

  3. Why not help Sparky upgrade his wardrobe and send him the leisure suits? Having seen him up close and in person, it would be a gracious gesture. There is some truth in his claimed ability to turn heads. He does make people smile; I'll give him that. It is only the impolite one that proceed to laughing. ROFL

  4. The boom box wouldn't work as it would get in the way of the gun rack. No self respecting Texan drives a truck without a gun rack.
