Niemann is 1-0, 0.87 ERA in his last three starts. Moscoso is 1-1, 7.31 in his last three.
$15 on Milwaukee (Gallardo) over Houston (Happ), -1.5 @ -$130

Gallardo is 2-1, 1.35 ERA in his last three trips to the hill, including 7 innings of shutout ball against the Astros in his last outing. Happ is 4-13, 6.01 ERA this season and gave up 2 runs in 5 innings against the Brewers in his last start. The Brew Crew has won 8 of 10. The Astros are suffering thru their worst season in franchise history.
$25 on LA Angels (Weaver) over Seattle (Vargas), -1.5 @ -$110

Weaver is 14-5, 1.88 ERA this year. Vargas is 0-3, 9.49 ERA in his last three starts.

  1. Of course the Cubs season has been a complete disaster, but now the White Sox, who have underperformed all year, look like they might not make the big run fans have been waiting for. I hate to start shifting into football mode this early in August.
