Cancer Returns-Update

Mom and Dad their senior year of high school.

First of all, thank you for your e-mails, texts, and phone calls asking about Mom and offering encouragement. I greatly appreciate it.

Today is the day she begins six weeks of treatment on her stage 3 cancer. We have carefully chosen to pursue treatment after a lot of discussion. I was pretty sure she would opt for treatment. Mom's a fighter, and fighters fight.

She receives chemo every Monday and radiation five days a week. She's 85 years old and weighs 85 pounds, so obviously I am very concerned with how this is going to play out.

But, you have to admire her spunk.

Send those prayers and positive energy to central Texas.

And as my friend Josie says, "Cancer sucks."

  1. Cancer sucks big time. Sending stuff your way.

  2. GGGGGGGGGGGGGG UNIT. positive KARMA from the great state of colorado PLUS a little KUSH fog to help her eat bcuz of the chemo.

  3. Will be sending prayers and positive energy down from Kansas.
