We had eight runners at the Duck Blind Thursday to kick off our 2013 poker home game. Farmer Harry brought the pizza and M2 made a very tasty banana pudding for dessert. Mmmmm.

Seated at the obround table was Stamps, Glass Man, Farmer Harry, J-Dawg, Ray-Ray, Ollie the Acountant, Dealer Larry, and yours truly. The name of the game was dealer's choice, limit, with a $20 buy in.

Stamps took the early lead for the High Hand Jackpot when he flopped quad tens in a hand of Omaha, but Ray-Ray ran him down later in the evening with a straight flush to the J and took home the jackpot.

He needed it, as even with the jackpot, he only won $1.50!

Glass Man and Harry were the two big losers, both dropping between $25-30. J-Dawg also has a rough night and has been running bad for several weeks. He's one of the stronger players, so he'll come around soon.

Everyone else walked away with a little extra cashola in their pocket, with Stamps cashing out a $25 profit, the largest at the table. I was able to pick up $17, which got my year off to a good start.

Friday night is the $5 NLHE Tourney at Tin Man's. We are expecting Bluffin' Bev to make an appearance after recovering from some serious health issues over the past year. It'll be great to have her back!

Till next time, win the flips.
