There are a couple of long shots that look interesting on today's hoops menu.

2 units on Charlotte (+$240) over Houston

This is more of a bet against the Rockets, (who have looked more like the Rockettes on the court lately) than it is a bet for the Bobcats. Houston is 7-14 on the road and has lost 7 straight overall. Charlotte is 5-16 at home, but at better than 2-1 odds, it's worth a small bet.

2 units on Alabama A&M (+$1025) over Southern A&M

5Dimes was the only book taking money line bets when this was written. The Bulldogs are 7-10 overall, but 6-2 when sleeping in their own beds. The Southern Jaguars are white hot, winning 12 of their last 13, but are only 5-6 on foreign soil this season. At 10-1, it's worth a couple bucks.
