MLB Picks, May 20th

Two games on the menu today look interesting.

$10 on Boston (Lester) over ChiSox (Axelrod) -1 1/2 @ +110
Southpaw Lester gets the nod for the BoSox, bringing a perfect 6-0 record to the party. The White Sox counter with Axelrod, who is 1-3 with a 4.27 ERA this season. Boston is on a 5 game winning streak. Chicago has won 4 of their last six, but are only 3-7 against leftys.
$15 @ -130 on LA Dodgers (Kershaw) over Milwaukee (Gallardo)
LHP Kershaw is 4-2 this year, with a 1.40 ERA. In his last 4 outings he is 2-0, 0.88. Gallardo is 0-2 with a 5.06 ERA in his last 3 trips to the bump. The Brewers have lost 9 of their last 11 and are 4-13 against southpaws.
Starting Bankroll                          $1,500.00
Profit/Loss                                    ($71.10)
Current Bankroll                          $1,428.90

Action is considered dead unless both listed pitchers start.

  1. I went to the White Sox/Red Sox game last night. Lester was not sharp, giving up a three-run homer to Adam Dunn in the first and two more runs in the second. He was at 99 pitched through five innings and did not look sharp at all. Lots of control problems.

    Heck -- we'll take it!
