Two Cents Worth

My mother actually had me take the pictured check (two cents) to the bank to cash.

"Umm... I'd like to cash this please," I said as I slid the check across the counter.

The teller slowly looked at the check, and then looked up at me with a raised eyebrow.

"How would you like that sir?" she asked.

"Umm... pennies?"

"Yeah, that's what I thought," she said with a smirk, handing me the pennies one at a time.

"Could I have some that are a little more shiny?"

Teller: :o/

Thanks Mom.

  1. Nice lady. I am sure she said, "Keep the change."

  2. Don't let anybody tell you that your mom's not worth two cents.

  3. I'd have had to have asked for it in yen. That's too funny.

  4. I'm taking the Colts this week in your contest sir. Thank you... :)

  5. I love when the paper is worth more than the payout
