Adventures of a Small Stakes Poker Player and Sports Bettor
At the end of the season, do you review your picks? How many favorites, how many dogs did I bet on? How many home teams, how many road teams, etc. What do you find are the best bets?
Yeah MOJO, I do look over them, especially basketball and hockey.I haven't bet on basketball as long as baseball, so I'm still developing my system as to what to look for in betting games. So far, I've noticed that the college game is easier to pick than the pros. In particular, there seems to be a nice edge by taking the home dog when they have won at least 80% of their home games. Usually a ranked team will be visiting and the public generally overrates ranked teams. It provides a good opportunity when it is presented. This is my first year betting hockey and as you can see, I haven't figured it out yet. But, I'm learning. The tuition is a little higher than I'd like, but I'll get there :)
