Memory Lane

I was going through some old family pictures earlier today, which brought more than one smile to my face as I remember both some great times and great people that have blessed my first 54 years.

Can't wait to see what the next 54 bring :)

Join me on my trip down memory lane. Keep your feet and hands in the car at all times.

This is my parents in high school. One of
my all time favorites.

My Mom on her pony. Mom's 83 now,
so that would make the pony...dead!

My daughter (second from left) and Sonny Boy
(far right) with their cousins, chowing down on
some Bugs Bunny popsicles.

My Dad (center) with my cousin James (left)
and uncle Budge. Oh the stories these three
could (and did) tell!

Me as a duckling with my sister.

The family superheroes, Sonny Boy
and his cousin Rebecca.

Thanks for sticking with me through this. I enjoyed the trip, hope you did as well.

Now back to our regular programing.

  3. That pic of your parents in their Varsity jackets - man, that's about as classic a piece of '50s Americana as it gets.

  4. I love that you say, "Can't wait to see what the next 54 bring." I'm 54, too, and was planning on living to 102, but now I'm thinking I'll hang out with you till 108.

    1. How 'bout I hang out with you? Vegas will probably be more fun than Waco!
