Deep Runs at the WSOP

I want to give a couple shout-outs to two friends who had deep runs this week at the WSOP.

My buddy Larry (known as Stamps, because he's a mailman) finished 42nd out of over 2,000 in Event 37, a $1,000 NLHE tournament. Stamps was representing our Vegas or Bust Poker League, so the league players will divide half of his $6,000+ cash, which means moi will make a little payola on his success.

Another friend, David (known as Memphis Mojo, because he lives in...Florida?) final-tabled the Super Seniors Event, finishing 7th for a tidy $34k payout. You can read all about it by clicking HERE.

Not only has Mojo now final-tabled two WSOP tournaments, he has also won our NFL Picks Contest twice. Truly a superstar in our midst.

Congratulations to both players! I'll give it a shot on July 3rd, (representing our league) knowing you two will be a hard act to follow.

Till next time, win the flips.
