Foiled Again!

There were nine runners that showed for some burgers and cards Tuesday night. Bobby Dee had grilled the hamburgers, which were great. Add some chips and dips and you have some pretty good grub.

It was a little after seven when the cards were put in the air. From left to right were J-Dawg, Farmer Harry, Glass Man, Stamps, Gentleman Jim, Bobby Dee, Dealer Larry, Ollie the Accountant, and me.

I had a tight grip on the High Hand Jackpot when I flopped quad sixes in a hand of Omaha High in this $20 buy-in, dealer's choice, limit game. My hand held for most of the night, but Gentleman Jim flopped quad tens in another hand of Omaha to win the HHJ.

Drats! Foiled again!

Bobby Dee was the big winner of the night, cashing for a $40 profit. Dealer Larry wasn't far behind with a $35 win. Ollie made $20 and J-Dawg took it on the chin to the tune of $35. Harry and Glass Man both had rough nights, dropping around $25 each. I left $3 lighter.

Good times, good food, good friends, no profit.

Till next time, win the flips.
