MLB Picks, April 22nd

Several games are worth a peek today.

$28 @ -140 on Detroit  (Verlander) over ChiSox (Leesman)
Verlander is 2-1 with a 2.08 ERA this season. Leesman is making his first start of the season. The Tigers have won 3 of their last 5. The Sox have won their last 2 after dropping their previous 4.
$27 @ -135 on Milwaukee (Gallardo) over San Diego (Kennedy)
Gallardo is 2-0 with a 1.46 ERA this season. Kennedy has struggled and brings a 1-3 record with a 4.12 ERA to the party. The Brewers are an impressive 15-5 on the young season and pitching has led the way.
I've spent a little more time studying the plate umpires for the games and have a few I think are worth betting today.

$11 @ -105 on the OVER (7.5) Houston/Seattle
The OVER is 10-1-1 in the last 12 games with Barry behind the dish.
$11 @ -105 on the UNDER (7) Cincinnati/Pittsburgh
Danley has a tight strike zone as indicated by his 16-3 UNDER record in his last 19 games.
$11 @ -105 on the UNDER (10) San Francisco/Colorado
Davidson called games are 6-0-1 in his last 7 calling balls and strikes.
Starting Bankroll                                       $1,500.00
Profit/Loss                                                    ($58.00)
Current Bankroll                                        $1,442.00

Action is considered dead unless both listed pitchers start.
