The Big 'C' - Update

If you've followed this blog for any length of time, you'll remember that my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year. If you want to catch up, click here, here, and here. Trust me, it reads a lot faster than it was lived.

Anyhow, earlier today she had a cat scan done to be sure her cancer was still in remission. From there she visited her heart doctor and got a good report. After that she got her morning test results from the lung doc, which showed the cancer was still in remission.

So, it's definitely good news and a relief for our family. Her next check up is in March which means we'll be boarding the emotional roller coaster again in the spring.

A good day today, but cancer still sucks.
