MLB Picks, Sept 7th

There are several games on today's MLB menu, but only one that is actually worth betting. I like Cliff Lee and the Phillies against Colorado, but the price is too high. Also, the Tigers and Scherzer against the Angels, but the Halos are red hot right now and I try not to bet against hot teams.

$10 on NY Mets (Niese) over Atlanta (Maholm) @ -$105
In the Big Apple tonight, Jonathan Niese gets the nod for a hot Mets team, who have won 8 of their last 11 games. Niese is the "deuce" man, posting a 2-2 record with a 2.22 ERA in his last 4 starts. The Braves counter with Paul Maholm, who has struggled recently, sporting a 0-2 record with a hefty 7.47 ERA in his last three outings. Atlanta is 38-28 on the highway, so I'll tread lightly on this one.
Starting Bankroll           $1,500.00
Profit/Loss                     $ 301.50
Current Bankroll            $1,801.50

Action is considered dead unless both listed pitchers start.
