2011 Sertoma Kite Festival
The community service organization I work with just staged our Sertoma Kitefest last Saturday. Kitefest is our largest fundraiser of the year and this year grossed a little over $11k with an attendance in excess of 2,000 people. We'll take these proceeds and purchase hearing aids for hearing impaired kids here in central Texas. In the last year we have provided aids for 17 children.
