Basketball and Hockey Picks, April 8th

The picks have been few the last several days in both the hoops world and on the rink. It doesn't look like that will change today, especially with the only game on the court being the NCAA title game.

If I was forced to pick a winner in this one, I would lean towards Louisville (-4), but I lived in Louisville for almost 5 years, so this pick might be with my heart and not my head.

The Boston/Carolina NHL match up looks interesting for a puck line wager on the Bruins. But at only +130, I don't think that's enough of a payoff to give 1 1/2 goals.

Hopefully, tomorrow will bring better opportunities.
